2013 Audi A6 "Be aware of door safelock" bip sound every 5 second

Dear forum team,
After few minuts driving I hear a bip sound every 5 second.WhatsApp Image 2018-04-25 at 11.07.18.jpg


Also after switching off I get the message on board, "Be aware of door safelock"

Please help for any sulution

Hi,

Is it possible the key is in your pocket and something is pressing on the "lock" button as you are driving? This would lock the doors and activate the safelock which prevents the doors from being opened from the inside (so someone can't break a window and reach inside to open the door once you have locked the car).

Just a thought.

All cars display the "Be aware of door safelock" whenever the ignition is turned off so, unless there is other evidence, I cannot see that the blip sound is necessarily related to the locking systems. Is there no message displayed on the driver panel when the blip sound is being made?

The beep you get is normally when you don’t put your seatbelt on. And that’s like every few seconds. It ls accompanied with a flashing light on the dash.
So maybe a problem with the micro switch in the seat belt clip.
Safelock message is normally there when you switch off so as mentioned could be unrelated to the beep.

Ah. Good thinking. I was assuming it was a chirp from the alarm siren as the car locks - not enabled by default in the UK but it is in the USA (and I'm guessing Israel too). I hadn't thought of the seatbelt bong

Only familiar with the beep as it annoys the crap out of me when I’m moving the cars in the driveway 😄
