Does anyone have any ideas where the locking wheel nut key might be kept?

eTron doesn’t have a storage area in the boot floor, which seems to be the normal place for them...

Currently stranded in Great Yarmouth, on a bank holiday, with a car load of luggage, and family, trying to get the wheel repaired before driving the 120 miles home.

Reluctant to attempt it on the plug the AA man did...

    Cheers
    John

Usually they are under the boot floor, or maybe in any storage area at each side.... Some cars have a plastic box under the boot carpet were a spare would be located....

Not actually seen an E-Tron.. but all my past and current cars have it there...

    Hope you get sorted

Call Audi or a dealer they should know, if it's fairly new it should have an assistance number they should be able to advise.

Looks like it’s under the floor but up against the rear seats. Hoping you have sorted this now and not still waiting!

Thanks. Called 4 different Audi garages and none of them knew! Suspect if it had been any other day, when the service departments were in, I might have had more success.

Got home on the AA repair in the end. Found that page in the manual just before you replied (should have kept it in the car, I know), so have managed to find the key when the boot was finally clear.

Photos, if anyone is interested, or needs in the future...

Glad you got home okay. Nightmare!

I have a pdf of the manual for my 2016 car which includes e-tron but think there are newer versions knocking around. Worth getting one on the phone.

    I had the same issue
Lift the fabric flap at the front edge of the boot floor, i.e. behind the second row of seats. In there you will find cunningly concealed the lock-nut-key, an inflation kit and a minimal other bits & bobs.

edit... oh-oh. Just saw the earlier replies

I can confirm most Audi garages appear to consider the e-tron something weird and best avoided. As an owner, I think it's magic!!

    Nope
As I don't have a spare, a jack in the car is of limited use.

However I do now have a set of Winter wheels, and will probably change myself for next year, so will have to dig out a trolley jack that is buried in the garage. I saw a reference in another thread to the jacking points. I will either get a puck made up to suit or use sub-frame points.

    Probably won't look until November;-/

I know its of no help but what a stupid place to put an emergency tyre repair kit and locking wheel bolt. Your away with your family, potentially with a car full of people and luggage and you have to turf that all out to get to locking wheel bolt. Why not put it on the boot lid with the warning triangle??
It amazes me sometimes that the engineers don't think about things like this, bet they would if they drove the car and came across that problem.
