looking for Audi specialist to retrofit after market 360 parking camera!

Hi all,

Here's hoping someone can recommend an experienced 360 parking camera fitter near London. Bought a used full spec Audi Q7 4M but with one item missing which was the 360 Top View/Park assist system. Not bothered about park assist but 360 top view camera would be great. The only fitter on net I've seen is Hazzydayz to fit an original top view system.

But, having watched a video of the new 2018 Audi A8 and it's new 3D top view system I started searching for any after market comparable systems. I finally found one made by a Chinese company Szdalos. Watched the system working on YouTube which looks fantastic. Even saw an Audi A4 owner from Thailand showing it off. It has four 1080p cameras, records video and shows 3D 360 images of your surrounding vehicle.

Hope andyhud007 reads this as from what I've read he likes to push retrofits to the max but not sure if it's only using genuine Audi parts.

If anyone can put me in contact with someone who can take on such a task that'll be great!

I looked for that same about 3/4 months ago. My local Audi dealer don't do it but directed me to their approved fitting shop and was quoted 4.2k for that. It was too much of money for me to for that job so gave up. But it's definitely worth having it, especially for such a big car.

Yes, 4.2k can deposit on another runaround...cheapest original fit system I've seen is 2795+vat which is still a lot considering if bought as a new build it would be 1800 with park assist...I would like to order the SZDALOS system for around 300 plus the cost for someone to fit it...should cost well under half of those quotes and could be a better system too...

Well, IIRC the quote was including the advance park assist or whatever it called. I'm still interested to give another try if I get a better price.

Here's the spec of vehicle to make your advice more relative :- Graphite grey, S line 272PS, Volcano leather, turbine alloys, matrix headlights, folding auto dim/memory mirrors, driver/pass electric seats, flat-bottom steering wheel, electric steering column, heated front/rear seats, power close doors, trailer pack, comfort pack, style pack, technology pack, black styling pack, tour pack, entertainment mobile, Digital TV...


The SZDALOS system arrived (very quick)...Depending on your advice, especially if its a no go...I'll just fit the system to my wife's car as its a cheap and cheerful motor so no tears if something goes wrong
