2005 Touran 2.0tdi Central locking issues

Hello, I posted here a while back with the same question but had no reply. The issue is that the drivers door, front passenger door and rear drivers side door will not lock / unlock with the key or the button on the drivers door. The tailgate and the rear passenger door work perfectly. There are quite a few fault codes related to these doors but would like some expert opinion as to what remedial action IO may need to take. best thing to do is to search the Ross Tech Wiki page for your fault codes and see what they mean. The Wiki pages often have suggested repairs which can range from checking wiring and connectors to changing physical components.

Thanks. I have concluded that it is most like 3 defective locks, or 3 x defective wiring looms, or both. I will do more investigating, but will probably order 3 new Chinese locks from eBay as they are only £20 each and have a warranty. I previously replaced one lock on this car already and it is the only one currently working!

Is there a control module for the central locking? Maybe change that first...doubtful 3 locks are playing up.
Also worth checking where the wiring enters the doors inside that rubber tube....wires often break.

I believe there's a control module within each door. Certainly for the front doors this is held within the window regulator mechanism - prob the same with the back doors but will need checking. I've currently got an issue with my front passenger door lock too but I can't even get mine open! Got another thread open for that and hoping to get some suggestions on there soon.
