    =============================================

    I decided to change the whole manifold flap unit aka the throttle body. Off course after replacing the flap and re-scanning, the faults were still there, so I cleared them. They came back almost instantly.

    After doing some research, I came to know that I need to replace either fuse 8 or fuse 24 in the fuse box located under the bonnet.

    The trouble is I DONOT have a fuse box under my bonnet. My battery is in the trunk. In my car, the fuse boxes are located the same as in this doc

    http://acislovensko.sk/wp-content/up...useList-EN.pdf

    Can someone please guide me where would the fuse location be for the intake manifold flap?

    Welcome.

    I suggest doing some reading and research as this topic is highly covered on the forum, in fact there is quite a large thread present here.

    Thanks Chris!! I did do some research on the forum and other forums but to no avail. I want to know the fuse location which everyone mentioned to be under the bonnet. But Its not the case with my car. I donot have a fuse box under the bonnet (so does I believe a lot of other a6 c6 4f's).

    So it turns out that the new "used" manifold flap I bought was faulty too. Replaced it and the fault went away. Did not have to change any fuses.I have a BRE engine btw!!

    Had problem with my Intake flap motor aswell (v157) i just took it apart ,cleaned ,disassembled motor it self. Cleaned brushes and bent little springs . Sorted. Just brushes worn out and get shorter and wont hold that much against rotor. Doing my thing and all good. Done same with EGR but have not tested it yet because bought used one before repaired it. And now have egr ready to go if get code again with secondhand replacement one. EGR was done before V157..Thats why i didnt buy new v157 as i saw that these things can be easily repaired.
