I have had a number of issues with my air suspension which I have solved through replacement of all 4 airbags with Arnott Gen 1 bags, new valve block from Meissler Automotive and a reconditioned compressor. I hadn't realised when I embarked on all this that the system had had slime added to it sometime before my ownership 3+ years ago and this is now messing up the valve block.

Anyway the slime is causing havoc with the valve block and I am now replacing it for the 4th time. Probably due to slime in the system. When I took the valve block off around a teaspoon worth of slime fell out the airline from the rear left pipe and I suspect there is some contamination of the rear right. This has caused the rear valves to stick.

I have a new valve block being sent to me but before I fit I want to eradicate the slime form the system. I don't have an airline but did use a track pump for my bike to blast some shots of air down the lines and this shifted a small drop but nothing of note. I am hoping that given the system is pretty much all new thats is but advice would be appreciated.

Any advice on how to achieve this please?

    Hi,

Ideally replacement of all contaminated parts to ensure the slime I out the system.

The 4mm airhose is not expensive here:

Metric Pneumatic Nylon 12 Flexible Tubing BS5409 & DIN 73378

The brass airline fittings are £3 each.

The only issue may be if slime is in the airbag, ideally changing all contaminated parts at the same time.

    Best regards

    Andy
