    Hello

    I have bought a 2008
VW Golf 2.0 TDI 140 BKD and it has a judder when accelerating only from 1500 to 2500rpm, which gets worse and worse in higher gears. I have taken it to several garages and the only error code is for low pressure in air con when plugged in to diagnostics. So far I have tried:

    1. Rebalanced wheels and 2 new front tyres.
    2. Engine mounts checked.
    3. Drive shafts checked for true running, gators removed and regreased.
    4. New injector wiring loom.
    5. New Dual Mass Flywheel/clutch
    6. New head gasket with new cam belt and water pump.
    7. 2 faulty injectors refurbished.

The car has a full service history with fuel filter being changed every 2 years.

This has cost me over £2000 so far and the judder persists. The car is only worth about £3500, so any help would be greatly appreciated?

    Thanks

The garage fixed it mostly. I have a horrible feeling it was just the EGR valve that needed cleaning out properly from carbon deposits. However, the garage said it was the injectors - maybe it was or maybe they couldn't admit it was something as cheap as the EGR valve cleaning... I will never know..

It used to do at 1500 -2500 rpm - gentle or flooring it... worse in higher gears....

    Good luck..
