I'm curious as to what tyre pressures you folk are running with.
I believe the recommended pressures are 38psi all round for partial loads and 33psi for comfort(?). I checked mine today and the dealer had them only on at 28psi all round.?!?!
Keen to hear your views and experiences of ride quality at different pressures.
I have a long trip coming up so not sure what to go with.
    Cheers

I've got the 20" 285/45 standard s-line wheels but looks like all but the 22" are the same. I go for 35psi all round and check every couple of months.

I read elsewhere that over-inflating can increase mpg but cause uneven wear.

My dealer missed one of the PDI checks as the tyres were all overinflated as per factory shipping standard . I think around 45psi!

Correct answer is 38 all round. Well, for most anyway

I just checked what the 3 options are and it's:
    1) Partial load
    2) Partial load (comfort mode)
    3) Full load

Checked the manual and it has a note on option 2 for when available and then a further note saying recommend option 1 or 3!

*** - don't give 3 options if you only recommend two. I bet the f&@£wit who recommended that also worked on the train times.

Anyway, 38 all round for me next time..

Yep I'm on 38 now. The whole comfort setting thing is just weird. I tried both and found no noticeable difference anyway. Settled on 38 for hopefully better mpg from now on.

Intrestingly, the US owner manual specifies for Q7 Diesel 32psi front and rear for normal load (3 persons) on 18-21 inch tire and 32psi front and 35psi rear for full load.

Don't they get run-flats as standard over there? Maybe they require less pressure?

Maybe, but the US owner manual has a run-flat section, which does not mention a different pressure for run-flat vs. regular.
