    Hi Everyone,

First time posting on the forum, ive read a lot about my issue regarding power loss on the forum and unfortunately,
still no luck, what I have done so far with the car to fix the problem was , 1. done a complete services,
2.changed the (MAF) 3.Diagoned the car with Diagnostic tool and it came up with (n75) had problem Replaced it still no joy,
now I input the diagnostic tool again and these are the codes that came up

P1441 EGR VALVE (N18), OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT GROUND :SPORADIC,

P1588 ENGINE MOUNT SOLENOID VALVES(N144/N145), OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT GROUND :SPORADIC,

P1156 MANIFOLD PRESSURE SENSOR (G71) OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT GROUND :SPORADIC,

P3105 VALVE FOR INTAKE MANIFOLD FLAP (N239), OPEN CIRCUIT OR SHORT GROUND :SPORADIC,

Can anyone please shine a light on these but mostly the n18 for at I think the culprit,

WHERE IS THE (N18) VALVE LOCATED IN THE AUDI A4 1.9TDI B6 ALL I KNOW ITS NEAR ENOUGH IDENTICAL TO (N75)

Forgot to mention , some cold mornings , the turbo kicks in for few seconds and dies again.

ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRICIATED.

Check your anti shudder flap is fully open, n239 solenoid, n18 solenoid is either on the engine front next to the vacuum accumulator sphere or on top of the air filer box, sorry cant remember which is which, but trace the vac hoses to confirm. I think your MAP sensor fault may be the culprit here though, a vcds log would help . Pull the vac hose off the egr actuator diaphragm to eliminate egr from the equation temporarily, this will leave egr valve closed. You will probably also find your egr and inlet manifold are choked up. Easy to remove and clean on the awx though.

    Hi Rob,

    Thanks for your quick reply,

I will check with the anti shudder flap during my lunch break, I found that the N18 located near the Air filter is oily, no idea how that happen, unfortunately I don't have VCDS log,as im using the Launch diagnostic tool , I checked the map before with multi meter , and all was ok, I heard some people on about some fuse 34 could be an issue, id have to give the EGR and inlet manifold a good cleaning on the weekend, as you referred.

There is another solenoid valve under the intake pipe where the map is located, not sure if this is 239 or n18, got my cover on so cant trace the lines and baltic wind so not in mood to fiddle about fraid!
You may have a split egr diaphragm, sucking oily gunk into the n18 sol valve. Pull the pipe off the diaphragm and suck the diaphragm chamber pipe, if you can keep sucking the diaphragm is split

    Hi rob,

All is good now , it' was all in all the N18 valve thank god , but there's still engine mount solenoid on the diagnostics but hopefully that wouldn't be a problem in the future
