    Hi.

I drive an A6 2.0tdi with 100.000km right now. Bought it 2 months ago second hand. Now i notice he judders when launching in 1st gear. Common problem i see on the internet, or not?
Cause when i look for this error i will find only problems

I want to see if there are owners over here with an 2.0 tdi who have or doesn't have this problem.
Just to see if this problem is a real problem or not cause i can't believe every DMF / clutch is bad in the 2.0 tdi.
See please post here if you have a 2.0tdi, mileage and if you had any problem or not with the clutch / DMF

Mine does it a bit. Seemingly at random, I can't see a pattern to it. Dealer said nothing wrong (surprise surprise) and I just drive round it as it's not too bad. 70k miles on mine.

It might be something unrelated to the DMF:

Please help, vibration when accelerating from 1800-2800 rpm - Page 2

Although DMFs seem to be a weak point in general… not just with VW Group cars either.

I do but now with the cold weather it's worse. I now go to 2000 RPM when pulling away. If i had a RS6 i would like to give more revs
I'm just scared that when I get the DMF replaced the problem will soon come back like many users have on the web. But the users who don't have it would not tell their story on the web. That's why you only find the ones who have problems with it.
Now i'm looking for people who don't have the judder problem. or do all 2.0 tdi models have this problem?

Your description sounds like the clutch, but Ive also seen this where the engine isnt running smoothly and lacks power at low revs, which also causes a sensation like this. Have you had that ckecked out ?

Our A4 had the DMF changed at 38,000 miles and was fine afterwards. 2.0 tdi engine. Initially the problem was intermittent and the garage couldn't find the fault but at the next service they felt it and it was done under warranty.
