Pressure washer / indicators flashing

OK so whenever I'm washing the car the indicators flash and the lights come on. It seems to only happen when the water hits either the door handles or wing mirrors so I'm thinking maybe it's something to do with the advanced key? Doesn't really bother me, just wondered if anyone else noticed and whether it potentially points to a problem with any of the systems.

I have the advanced key as well, but never experienced this while washing the car.

yes mate it's down to keyless I get the same also doors lock mirror fold in etc pain

easy way round it I just put the keys in center concel or put keys in porch or hang in garage while I'm washing

it didn't really worry me to much at first but then the mirrors folded in lol so was a pain to wash mirrors

Yep, happens to me too as usually have keys in my pocket. BMW's I've had also do it with the advanced / comfort key

yeah I get this but only if I'm jetwashing with the keys in my pocket...
