Audi A4 B8 2009 Drivers door not unlocking via remote?

Hello lads,

Got an problem and hope to find solution here, ive had the car for about 6 months+ now, and about 2-3 weeks ago the drivers door didnt unlock anymore, recently only with key manually i can get it open. When i drive and lock (like going shopping) and come back within 30mins, then usually opens via remote, but if longer then does not. only via key.

Audi wants £60 just to diagnose the problem, i read something about sticking microswitch ect? ...

Do other doors lock/unlock fine? How is your lock function set? One press unlocks only drivers door or all doors?

Ive tryed both settings, all doors and just drivers door.

Other doors and boot open fine no issues.

Common issue with door lock, first try some oil or dw40 to the keyhole and play with fob, if no luck, time to replace or at least try to clean contacts(maybe you got lucky).

No lock beep since replacing power lock actuator!?!?!!

Since all doors unlock fine i would assume that problem is not electric related. If you have vcds you can check driver door status for switches.
