I naively asked a few months ago.... so what really are the differences between SLINE models pre and post facelift..
At work me and a work colleague were parked next to each other...
Mine is the red one!
And yes it is a CAT D that I have personally repaired!

What about the mirrors, wheels, rear bumper and rear lights.

Also some SE models come with more toys than basic S Line models.

Well... this is fully loaded with 3G MMI and Sat Nav.. cruise.. full leather.. LED rear lights.. xenons.. DRL rear PDC.. double 7 spoke wheels...the rear bumper doesn't look different to the preface lift model.. and actually (except colour) the door mirrors are the same too..... I think my post should have been titled... the visual differences of SLINE front ends 2007 and 2010 models...

In relation to the colour... Apparently... there aren't that many Garnet 2.0TDI Le Mans editions in this colour.. after spending hours trying to get the full history of the car... apparently.... the UK had 5 of them in this red... but the bigger engined A6 was more popular in this colour.... to be honest... I have seen some A4's in this colour and 1x A6.. but that's it really... I'm hoping to hold onto it for about a year and then reluctantly sell it for something a little newer.. (company cash for car rules)

Not really. The facelift mirrors are bigger and a slightly different shape. They include indicator repeaters in the mirror housing - you can see the pre-facelift has them in the wing in the picture you posted.
