I think I asked this question some time back but does anyone now how to get a repeat of a Sat Nav direction, most cars seem to have a button to press and the command is repeated, pressed most buttons to no avail.

Also soes anyone else think the Sat Nav input is clunky, selecting a favourite seems to have you clicking backwards and forwards, I would expect them to be easy to select.

On most other Audi models if you press the volume button on the steering wheel it repeats the last instruction.

What will happen if you press the "NAV" button on your wheel?

You need the more advanced steering-wheel, I can't remember what Audi name it. The standard wheel doesn't have the "Nav" button (amongst other things), which is what is required to repeat navigation instructions. The lack of this wheel is probably why you find the operation "clunky".

Yeah, I thought it was my ineptness, but I've come to the conclusion that saving a new location to Favourites an also selecting that new favourite for my destination involves too much too-and-fro action.
The satnav ui needs a bit more refinement, though having said that, I like how the nav works overall.
