    Hi All,
I have a Passat B6 2.0 Tdi 2010. I have installed my RNS 510 and Bluetooth module ( 1Z0 035 729b ) But i have the white highline MFD in the dash and this Bluetooth module doenst work with that. I have spoken to a local breakers and I have the option of the following modules

Control Module Type PR-Code Protocol 3G HFP PBAP A2DP rSAP SOP Notes
    5K0-035-730-D UHV-High 9ZB/9ZN BAP ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? 45/2011 (> 7P6-035-730-J)
    5N0-035-730-A UHV-Premium 9ZA/9ZU DDP/BAP No ??? ??? ??? Yes ??? > 5N0-035-730-B
    3C0-035-729-G
    3C0-035-729-F
    3C0-035-729-E

Does anyone have any idea which one will work and which one is the best to buy. I think its the 5N0-035-730-A, but will this work on the MFD and does it stream audio off my phone

    Thanks in advance

    Bod

    Hello Bod

I think that you will find you will need the 9W7 module - I think the part number is 7P6035 730E - have a look at this thread VWVortex.com - Adding OEM Bluetooth 9w2,9w3,9w7?? or try this Telephone Retrofitting - Ross-Tech Wiki you may find that the breaker part numbers are compatible?

I have just purchased a RNS510 for my VW EOS 2008 which has red hi line display and I may be in the market for your 1Z0035729B (9W3) which is the right blue tooth module for my car. According to my manual I should have the 9W2 but it comes up on my phone as a Parrot V5.21C- Anyhow waiting for the RNS to be delivered to see if the Parrot works with the red hi line display and if it allows the phone book to download so that I can use the MFSW if not - then would you be looking to sell your 1Z0035729B

    Regards

    Beedex
