First off, I been told only the Salesperson can track/view the car order??
However I've seen an option on your Audi portal to add an order.. so not sure what the deal is..

I've also read numerous forum's about jumping "build weeks" - and being bumped up and down the weeks and the like.

I know it's all part of a manufacturing process on the assembly line, and so accept the odd hiccups, but surely, considering the cars they pump out the process should just be streamlined in this day and age most of the time at least.

What makes is all the worse is all this MY16/M17 malarky, - I know build weeks follow the calendar weeks so why do Audi have MY16/17 etc around the tax year!!

Has anyone on got any simple answers?

Is it simply different sales folk dishing out different info to customers.
    For instance
Just placed a Q7 , apparently it had to go down as AN my17 order with the price increase etc, however the Audi Configuration on the website is still the old configurator at the old prices, one dealership sales guy says it will be a few weeks from 30th of April at least until the new prices take effect but can still order at the old prices.

The price increase itself wasn't the issue in my case due the options I already had, but inconsistent info from dealer to dealer drives me up the ... it's like the operate on different planets.

    Anyone faced a similar situation?

Definitely can track your order on yourAudi Login < youraudi < Audi < Audi UK

Need order number and it can take a few weeks before it lets you track it but it does work. Once you can login, you can insert this link into the same browser window and you can pull out the build week (calendar week) https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders/<insert your order # here>

My build week jumped around due to shortages with something in the Dynamic Pack. Others have said anything with a build week 22 onwards will be Manufacturing Year (MY)17.

Careful. I managed to register twice with the same email address and had to write a letter to Audi in Germany to fix!
