DRL bulb replacement to LED

Just picked up my Passat GT in blue yesterday and did not order LED lights !! DOH !!

Did a search on here but nothing came up.

Anyone changed the yellow DRL bulbs for a better looking LED one?

Thanks for that, excuse my ignorance but are the fog light bulbs the same bulb as the drl?

No, my Post is just for the LED option, but the removal of the light assembly is the same. You will have 2 bulbs instead of the 1 in mine. One is the Fog and the other the DRL.

Of course. Don't know what bulb they are though so you'd have to look. You'd need a Canbus version of the LED equivalent to stop any faults from showing on your dash.

I know this is an old post but for anyone else it might be useful.

I have a Passat Alltrack B8 and with standard lighting. It has a twin drl / fog light setup. Having just taken the bulbs out I have found that the DRL is a W21W. As mentioned above the fog light is H8.

I have yet to look whether there is a canbus W21W LED bulb on the market. Let me know if anyone has any recommendations.
