    Hi All,

I am looking to acquire an oil dipstick that can be used on the 2.0TDI CGLC engine code on my A6 C7

I have seen many dipsticks available for the older TDi engines with different engine codes but similarly the dipstick tube is located under the engine cover and is covered by a cap. The part number on ETKA I come up with for the tube is 03L 115 418 A but no dipstick!

i know that the oil level can be checked through the MMI but I would still prefer to be able to manually check it.

    Can this be retrofitted?

    Thanks in advance Steve

    Quick answer no

Looked into this when I had the 177 2.0 tdi on my first c7 and there isn't one available. You can't use the ones like from other Audi/vw/skoda as the sump is a different shape/size since the engine faces the other way and other factors.
I've seen the ones used in garages and by aa/rac. It's a generic stick and they need to set the stop depending on the car. There's a chart they use. Then they dip and read the results against the table. It's about 30-40 quid for these sticks
