    Hi guys
I need to replace my battery, will it be ok just to disconnect the old one and replace with the new one?
I'm just wondering if I will have any problems ahead, like losing my central locking or electric windows.
I have the code for the radio so I know that would be ok.

    Many thanks

I bought a Bosch battery 95Ah 800cca from EuroCar Parts last winter £104 with 4 year guarantee.
With a friend, I passed a long piece of wood through the handles and we lifted from both sides. Heavy mother.

If you haven't already bought one I would recommend https://advancedbatterysupplies.co.uk. I've just bought one for £62 with an insanely high spec: >800 CCA and nearly 90Ahr. They have other options though depending on whether or not you'll end up doing the battery tray mod. The new one is 354 mm which meant on mine (2000 - not an all-road) I had to fiddle a bit. I also whipped the bonnet off (only four bolts) so I could lower it completely vertical. Still needed an assistant but way easier this way.

Yes I have had a new battery fitted, I cheated in the end and got the RAC man to fit it for me, I had a Bosch 95Ah 800cca with a five year warranty,
