    Default Where to buy G12 coolant – 30-11-2015,12:02 PM
    I have an 07 diesel A6 and the coolant is getting low so I want to top it up with coolant, particularly as we're now in winter.

    I see that I can only use G12 coolant, which Halfords don't sell. I'm stuggling to find the correct stuff online. Can anyone recommend where I can buy it from? Also is G12+ the same as G12 or do I have to only use G12?

    Any Audi, Seat, Skoda or VW dealer. You'll be buying G13 now.

    Can I use G13? My wife has a 56 Skoda Fabia which used G13 so if so I can just use that as I have some in the garage

    It must be old stock, I'm sure G12 has stopped production & G13 introduced as it was more polar bear friendly

    Having just spoken to my local Audi dealer they have confirmed that G13 is the stuff to use. Having recently topped up (just above minimum) just with water, I assume I just fill with straight coolant or do I need to mix it with water first?

    I am sure Euro were doing a good price on 5 litres compared to the price of 1 litre
