    Default MAP sensor location – 16-07-2015,05:46 PM
    Hi , I have looked but cannot find a picture of the MAP sensor on the engine or where it lives ! Any advice please , a photo or a map (pardon the pun) would be gratefully appreciated

    If you mean the G31 Charge Air Pressure aka Manifold Pressure aka Boost Pressure sensor it is located in one of the large turbo boost hoses at the front of the car. It is plugged into a hole in the hose and has a connector running into the loom under the oil filter housing or thereabouts. There are 2 small retaining bolts. It's easy to miss it as it is masked by other pipework etc. in that area and if viewed from underneath sits on top of the hose making it difficult to see.
