I have an AUQ which is just an AUM with some added ECU attitude. Initially I used the NGK PFR6Q and would have fought to the death to defend them from past use in customers cars, but right from the start of owning the car I had slight background very light load pulsation which drove me utterly bonkers for a year or two. After I bought the car (dead) I fitted a new genuine exchange VAG engine, turbo (genuine) and over time I replaced EVERY other relevant component in the engine bay except the ECU and wiring harness, even the intercooler with MAP sensor, but it still pulsed under light load like it was just on the edge of being lean. Playing with the lambda using an interceptor box just made it shut down for being to rich, unlike my wallet by this time! About three years ago I started experimenting with some Yank spark plugs I read about in an engine technology magazine and the problem vanished..... I have now got the next generation of these plugs in which have now done a year of testing and it is perfect. My wife has a Polo 9N3 GTI with the (almost) identical engine and this is using the PFR6Q and is also perfect, just like she is.....

It is one I am testing with a view to importing them but I don't want to shout about it yet until I am 100% certain with them.
