207 Audi A4 - Parking Sensor problem

Hi Chaps.

Car: 2007 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro TDI

When i select Reverse i get a constant long beep which i know is normally indicated by a broken sensor. I have tried putting the car in Reverse and listening to the sensors but i cant hear anything from any of them!

- Could anyone point to me where the parking control unit is located? I had a look in the boot on the left hand side but could not find it.

- Is there a a fuse which i can take out to stop the annoying beep when i reverse? I lcoated the fuse box on the right hand side of the steering wheel but the parking sensors were not listed on the fuse info sticker?

When my car was last scanned by the rac the parking sensors didnt show up as a a fault for some reason.

Scan with VCDS that will tell you if it's a sensor or module.

Scan with VCDS that will tell you if it's a sensor or module.

RAC use VCDS? if so it didnt come up on there scan.

Is there a fuse i can remove to stop the beep?
