So I've had the car a few weeks and have a few niggles

Revs pulse if i lift off the throttle and coast for a while
Rear tyres are very noisy (uniroyal rainsport 2)

and just recently I've noticed a rubbing noise when turning right. This morning I kept the steering angle the same and as the wheel rotated you could hear it rub at a certain point. The tyre size is correct and I can't see anything on them, could a wheel bearing cause a rubbing noise?

Wheel bearings usually a constant whine / grumble when loaded rather than associated with a particular wheel orientation / pulsing sound. Otherwise a lot of grovelling needed to see if the tyres are developing a fault / bulge on the inner sidewall or if a bit of wheel arch lining isn't properly located. Plastic bags trapped on the front suspension is always good for strange noises. Stone trapped on edge of brake pad?

Cheers, if its only doing it when turning right would that indicate the left side is where I should look first?

I'll jack the car up at the weekend and take a look.

Not necessarily. After all, in your example, the rear of the right tyre / wheel has moved towards the arch linings, while on the left the front of the tyre / wheel has moved towards the arch linings. Don't forget the axle / body stands if any part of your body is underneath. Raising the car in the air also drops the wheel / suspension relative to the body so start looking while it's on the ground.

Absolutely it can. A wheel bearing can be quiet in a straight line but rumble when loaded as in a turn.
ie a worn bearing on the left will rumble in a right turn and vice versa.

I took a look under the car last night and there are no signs of rubbing. I did notice that a bit of the under tray is hanging off in the middle but I can't see how that could be causing any issues. I didn't have any axle stands so didn't fancy getting underneath to fix it back on.

For a bit of closure on this....

I noticed that the noise when away if I lightly touched the brakes. So, after a bit of reading, I decide to do a few heavy braking events (obviously when nobody was behind). I went from 65 down to 30 ish quite hard and now the rubbing noise seems to have gone away.
