    Hey guys,
Long story short, had the mk6 3 weeks, it can with an aftermarket double din.

It's got an antenna converter, that I had to wire into 12v to get the booster working.

But there is only one antenna cable in the car, that I can see.
From all other posts I've read there should be 2 cables.

Has the previous owner removed the dab antenna if It had one/can be done?

Fm is working ok now it's wired in.

the stock fm radio antenna should have a white plug with 2 cables going into it (see below)

    Thanks for the reply Chris.
It looks like they've taken one of the cables out of the white plug and wired an adaptor into it.

Anyone know if it's possible to remove the whole dab antenna(if it had it) and wiring or is it more likely that they've hidden it in the dash?

I'm going to have a dig tomorrow down the back. So far I've not felt anything and I've followed it a fair way back.

This is what's behind mine. I've tried to trace it back as far as I can but it disappears into the dash.

If it originally had the RCD 210 from the factory (i.e. pre-2012 S or Bluemotion models without DAB) then yes that single connector would have been fitted from the factory.

The dual connector in Chris' picture was only supplied in cars with the RCD 310 or upgraded head units.

Ahr thanks J400uk that's a good answer and it makes sense.
I ran the codes out of the service book sticker through the decoder and one of them came through as the Radio, when googling that code on its own it shows as rcd 210.

Guys thanks very much for your help. Muchly appreciated.
