Backup camera

just received my Back up Camera today looking forward to do the installation this weekend weather permitting.

has anyone here done this retro fit? looks easy plug and play.

I would like to do one.
I like the look of the pop out badge camera but I don't like the price.
I would do the light camera but would like to see a list of all parts needed and a nice photo write up just to give me some confidence.

Which passat have you got? I'm in the process of getting the component parts for the pop out camera and highline module. Once that's done I'm going to get my local car audio place to fit it

I've got a b7 bluemotion sport 140 in white.

I've got a B6 Saloon which I think has the same parts. I'm getting (and please anyone feel free to tell me if I'm wrong)
Wiring loom Passat B6/B7 CRS970.3AE.05
Highline module (which gives moving lines) 3C9907441
Emblem Camera 3AE827469A

Then it's just a matter of putting it together but it should pretty much plug n play and there's no messing with splicing reverse light cables etc.

is that all that's needed? Cables from head unit to camera? I've got vcds so can code it in no problem.
What sort of prices? Are they oem from vw?
