I've had my 2006 2.7TDi for 6 months now but I am having difficulty getting a comfortable seating position with the standard manual leather seats. So I was thinking of getting sports seats that offer more support including lumbar support. However, manual seats may make that a problem is I need to sort out the wiring.

Does anyone know if any other leather seats from the Audi range will fit, say from the A4 or A3 or even from another VAG car. I have an 1999 B5 Passat and the fabric seats, whilst being infinitely more comfortable, they are mounted on a different rail system, I think similar to the old C5 A6s.

I'm not bothered about getting back seats, just front leather ones, the same colour (black pretty much) so to the unfamiliar the seats will look like part of the original interior, even if they are sports seats which I think will be better.

    Many thanks

If you want more support than try an rs6 seat.

I don't see why they won't fit but they do look really good.

I had the same problem in my A6 C6 SE, that I found the standard seats uncomfortable - Im quite tall so I felt I needed more support under my legs. I ended up buying a set of used S-Line Seats from eBay for about £200.00. They obviously match the colour perfectly to the leather rear seats and literally took 10mins per seat to fit (plus all the cables matched). Of all the mods Ive done this one has made the most difference to my car, infinitely more comfortable for me now.
