    Hi all,

Does anybody know what colour the chrome trim is on the black optics package?

I think the grill is gloss black, and the window trim is matte black.

What about the door trim and boot?

These are the best pics I could find.

    And here is my beauty.

Also vinyl wrap or plasti dip?

    Thanks

Depends on how much £ you want to spend?

A good quality job, that's all. Not going to buy new trim as it gets ridiculously expensive.

I was quoted £150 to carbon wrap the plastichrome currently fitted and that was with me supplying the film.

Am sure can be done cheaper depending on the labour rates in your area, if London am guessing it will be higher.

Appreciate that wrapping can be done without the removal of the bits, where dipping will involve removal which, if including the front grill, will take a few hours.

The front grill needs to be done as 'one piece' which means effectively cutting out out a large square (?) and just using the outer bit...if that makes sense.

When wrapping you have to ensure that the bits being wrapped are all smooth and ding/dent/contamination free.

There are a couple of members on here that have done it themselves for just the price of the film and a few hours of detailed work with white spirit, a hairdryer and credit card...or specialist tools if needed.
