Yip Scuba Blue. Black edition means no chrome, ie the black grill etc.

Use snow foam them wash with Meguiars Gold Shampoo at present. It more important not to scratch the car. I use a bucket with the grid. Dry it of with mocrofibre clothes or similiar. I use a quick detailer every so often just to keep the shine. The Meguiars in my eyes is superior to Autoglym and certainly lasts more than a month.

    cheers

I use an Uber drying to pat dry the car most of the time. But I also have a Metro Vac Blaster Sidekick to get all the drops from the awkward bits - grills, mirrors, shuts etc. I believe one can dry the whole car with one but it's not quite as good as its bigger brother. A tip, use an open hose with gently running water to 'dry' the car before using a towel, makes it loads easier.

Have also found that an extra rinse with clean water, which I have to do with buckets because the car isn't close enough to the house to use a hose, makes it much easier to dry.

Gave it a shampoo, then sprayed on some Trix, then another shampoo, a dry and then tested a patch with Poorboys Black hole.

Before (light swirl marks courtesy of the VW dealer as I forgot to tell them not to wash it):

After (the quarter panel on the right had the Poorboys, the boot on the left didn't for comparison):

Decent improvement, not entirely clear in the photo. Will do the rest of the car tomorrow and put a coat of HD Wax on.
