    Default Golf GTi MK5 & MK6 wheel compatibility? – 15-04-2014,05:03 PM
    Hi all,

    We are about to purchase a MK6 Golf GTi that comes with the 18" Monza Shadow alloy wheels as standard. All well and good, but knowing the reputation diamond cut finish has for corrosion, I'm planning on buying a 2nd hand set of 17" Monza's to use over the autumn / winter period.

    Will a set of MK5 Golf GTi 17" Monza's fit straight on to a MK6 without any issues? Not sure if the offset is the same on both MK5 and MK6 GTi wheels and don't want to make an expensive mistake!

    Any help welcome.

    They're exactly the same chassis so can't see any issues.
