Hi folks I'm looking for anyone that has had any dealings with this fault code

P0405 exhaust gas recirculating senior A circuit low

I have recently replaced the EGR valve and the car has been running faultless for the last 1000 miles . The car spears to be running and driving perfectly, no lack in power or boosting problems.

    I am stumped guys!!

    Help!

Sorry Chris prob should have put this in....

The engine management light is on and the coil pack light is flashing.

I cleared the code but the coil light continued to flash, after driving the car for a short time the engine management light came back on

What year is your A6 and engine code?

That fault code means one of the following:

    1. the EGR wiring is shorting to earth.
    2. the EGR position sensor is faulty (this is built into the EGR, if your replacement one is ok then rule this out).
    3. The ECU is faulty.
