lift bonnet, locate fuel filter. remove outlet pipe and connect a pump to the filter. switch on pump and allow it to draw the fuel from the tank through the filter and into cans. you will need the 5 litre plastic cans, 12 of them, or 4 ex mil jerry cans. don't get caught now as its illegal to have more than a certain amount of fuel in cans no bigger than 10 (???) litres. when finished, reconnect pipes and jobs done.
personally i would just delay collecting the new car until you have used most of the new fuel.

most cars have an antisyphon blocker in the tank so good luck with that

You don't need pump just switch on the ignition and let the car do the rest - be careful not to run it dry thought

Even if you have enough fuel cans to store this diesel you can't run fuel pump by just turning the ignition on, you need VAG-COM\VCDS.

    Depends on the car

If I disconnect my fuel line and turn the ignition to on (don't need to start) things will get very wet and very dangerous pretty quickly
