Hi,

I have a 2011 A6 avant sline with dvd nav. I know that I have no AMI for my ipod but can someone please tell me if I should have an aux in? I thought that these should be standard on most cars noe let alone one with so much tech in it...

Still... I cant seem to find it.... (

Failing that if I get a bluetooth adapter for my ipod classic.. Is it possible to stream music from it to the MMI and can I do this while my phone is also connected?

If so.. How? Don't want to go buying an adapter if it will not work...

Does anyone also know what MMI version I have or how I find out what version I have...?

Any advice would be great... Thank you...

I think you have a C6 as the C7 never came with DVD nav iirc so moved to the C6 section.

No aux, you can buy a AMI -> 3.5mm cable though, for streaming you will need a ViseeO Tune2air WMA1000 - Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adaptor for in-car iPod Integration (Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes etc): Amazon.co.uk: Electronics

This will allow seperate devices connected to the AMI and something else to the cars bluetooth system. Why not just connect the iPod via the cable?

MMI version, CAR - SETUP -> Settings, Version Information but you have 3G Low.

Thank you Chris.. Just went on year as C6 just seemed to say 2005 - 2010.. Audi newbie I am afraid...

I don't seem to have anyway to connect my ipod via a cable due to the lack of input... I have got myself 2 x 32gb SD cards that I have put music on so I am sorted for actual music.. Problem is that any DJ mix CD's place a small gap between tracks which is mildly irritating.. If I can get ipod hooked up too then that would be great...

Sorry I totally missed the part of 'no' ami, I read it as just Ami sorry.

Are you sure you don't have it? Press media then source and see what appears. Failing that it's pretty easy to retrofit if needed but costs about £200-ish.

I was surprised to.. I can't see any port and my source button gives me 2 x SD, DVD and 6 discs for my multi changer...

That may be the way to go... Is that a DIY job or an Audi price?
