What is the latest software version for MMI 2G BASIC please?

Hi

Hoping someone may have knowledge of this on the forum and perhaps be able to advise on updating if necessary.

I have the MMI 2G BASIC setup - so red and black screen and single CD player in glovebox; there are only 4 main buttons on MMI control panel - RADIO, CD, CAR and SETUP.

In the device interface screen it shows SW REL - C6StdPlus_0410 and I am assuming 0410 is the SW version?

Is 0410 the most recent SW version for MMI 2G BASIC? All the threads on SW seem to be for MMI 2G HIGH and MMI 3G only so I can't find the info.

Just after doing a google search there is 0420 but not sure if thats for A6s or not.

Hi - thanks for the reply; unfortunately the google search doesn't really throw up any clear guidance with reference to the MMI 2G BASIC software - I had a look at the wikipedia entry but that is also not particularly helpful either. Loads of info if you have 2G HIGH or 3G.

In the process of starting a DENSION install and just wanted to make sure everything was correctly configured prior to commencement.

Well just completed the dension install when there was a break in the weather - the install went pretty well and I now have IPOD, USB and Bluetooth handsfree capability in the car whilst still being able to use the existing CD changer in the glovebox as well. Rain commenced again as refitting glove box so good timing!!

Some functionality via the steering wheel which is nice and also displays on the HUD as well. Not MMI 3G I know - but a vast improvement on CD and RADIO only with the 2G BASIC. All seems to function correctly without MMI software update so will probably leave as it is for now.

Hello. Would you have any wiring details for the Dension install on an A6 with single cd player in the glove box and the same software as you.
