    hi all

I usually put vpower in my 2.0fsi but yesterday put £20 of tesco 99 in. Today the engine management lights comes on and I plugged it in and got these codes

16575/P0191/000401 - Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247): Implausible Signal
16814/P0430/001072 - Catalyst System; Bank 2: Efficiency Below Threshold
18068/P1660/005728 - Coolant Fan Control 1: Short to Ground
16804/P0420/001056 - Catalyst System; Bank 1: Efficiency Below Threshold

Is it just coincidence with the tesco fuel, anyone else had problems?

I've cleared the codes and will keep my eye on it, I don't really understand the coolant fan code but the rest seem to be fuel related?

    Thanks

Thanks, I'd done a quick google and checked the ross-tech website for each code I just wondered as a collective of codes it points to something else and the tesco fuel is the only thing that's changed, do you think it's just coincidence?

    Probably just a coincidence.

Ok, rescanned and nothing yet, put some more vpower in today, feels a tiny bit lumpy like a coilpack could be on it's way out but I might be imagining it through over analysing!

Ok rescanned today after an EML, Got a coilpack missfire on cylinder 2 so will change that
    but also got
17439/P1031/004145 - Intake Manifold Tuning Valve (N316): Setpoint Not Reached

and also the same code as before

18068/P1660/005728 - Coolant Fan Control 1: Short to Ground

On the vcds wiki page it says
    Special Notes

    • When found in Audi A3 (8P), the complete Coolant Fan may need to be replaced. Detailed Instructions and Repair Information can be found under Recall 19D8 (2004439).

but I can't find anything further on it?

    Anyone had this before?

    Still getting the same code

    1 Fault Found:18068 - Coolant Fan Control 1: Short to Ground P1660 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded - Intermittent

Fan very noisy sometimes, seems to come on more when the aircon/heater console is on and will occasionally throw an EMLCould this have an effect on the car shaking a bit on the motorway too? Have had all the wheels balanced and the tracking isn't out
