New 2007 passat iphone/Bluetooth question

Hi, I've just bought a 2007 Passat. It has a small microphone dangling down in front of the sunglasses holder on the ceiling. Does this mean the car has Bluetooth?
The head unit is an RCD 300 MP3 - when I switch on the car it flashes up something about a phone for less than a second then it disappears.
Also the does the RCD 300 MP3 have an aux port or cd changer port so I can connect my iphone to it for music playback? Will probably get a cable from ebay.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Try searching from your phone when the ignition is on, could be the remains of a parrot or bury system.
