    I have managed to get myself a full black (soul) rooflining kit including all pillars, lighting consoles, sunvisors etc...

    Question....

    My current B Pillars do not have the air vents in them as pictured here;

    However the new ones I now have do have the vents in them.... agian pictured below;

    My question is... how would I go about getting these connected up so that air blows through them and also to get the little dial that opens and closes the vents to light up?

    Thanks in advanced

    Im assuming you don't have the digi aircon?

    For those to function correctly, you'll need all the ducting, cabling and probably new heater stuff behind the glovebox PLUS a retrofit of the digi aircon (I think those vents only came with digi).

    Seems a lot of hassle for vents .I have them and they don't seem to do much...don't think they light up, but I have never sat in the back lol

    No Chris. No digi aircon. Thought it'd be as easy as taking some ducting and connecting it up somehow. I have vents in rear in between the front seats and also vents in the two front doors. Thought I'd be able to connect it up to something along there?
    And I'm assuming there are lights as its got a little connector attached to it with two wires?

    Cheers

    The vents have no purpose, very very little flow comes out of them. I suppose for the lighting you could just tap into something else but again, if you're never in the back then I don't (really) see the point imo.

    You're spot on there Chris. You get better airflow from an asthmatic cat than you do from those pillar vents.

    I've never seen lights but then I'm rarely in the back.

    Its just a tiny little light on the rocker to open and close the vent which again makes no difference to the airflow on different settings on the climate panel.

    Ah yes - the one with two settings. Off and barely on.

    Lol okay. Seen as there's no point in getting the vent added I would still like the light to function as I'd like it to look like its meant to be there. Where's the best place to splice into?

    Probably down at the centre vent but means lifting the carpet

    Or be adventurous and try the door loom but I think that would be even more hassle.
