    All,

Real quick one. I have an A4 B8 S-Line - 2010 - factory standard. Currently has a set of 19" alloys, offset 43. Been offered a set of 18" alloys from a 2012 A4 which have an offset of 47.

I assume these are OK to fit?

Anything else I need to consider?

    Hi mate
yes it's fine the offset is basically how much difference from a flat face ( I.e more offset deeper alloy if that makes sense).

    Hi phil,

Good question. The 18's are for winter tyres, will keep the 19's for better weather.

I'd like to get some 17/18" alloys to replace my 19" on my 2011 A4 much like you've obtained. Is there anything I should look out for when finding replacements?

    J,

yes, initially it was going to get 17" but needed to consider the size of my brake discs and the brake cover. I felt 17s" would run too close to these parts so decided on 18s.

other than that offset and ensuring the wheels have the correct stud numbers and are spaced correctly (check the PCD number for the set you are considering) for your model then you should be good to go. Also consider if you want genuine wheels or aftermarket copies.
