    Failure of the nearside ABS/pad harness is common. Bridge the connections out at the inner wing terminal blocks behind the grommet.

    At the black connector location you will find a brown/green wire, if you earth this the light should go out. If not, remove the left lower A pillar kick panel and locate the 17 pin green connector, at position 3 the brown/green goes from there to the dash.

    Black connector? I'm slightly lost.. do you mean the connector behind the wheel just throughout the grommet? Also.. in the LH a pillar, the nly green connector has two wires. Which is situated kn the second row down.

    Ah... so I put my multimeter I to AMP mode and stuck one cable into the brown side of the plug and held the other onto a good earth point... the brake disk.. and hey bingo bango the clocks now say OK...

    So has tha done a reset or does that mean I need to replace the wiring from the connector to the pad and abs??
