    right lads europarts are selling on amazon - Pagid Front Brake Pad Set (T1149) for Audi A4, A6 / VW Passat , anyone know if they fit a 2001 Passat 1.9 tdi ????

    Vw original pads are £22 from tps no rattling or movement and responsive

    who is tps ??? dealer price on the phone was £ 71 , glad I was sat down at the time.

    TPS are the Trade Parts Specialist. They supply genuine parts, mainly to trade. I think they charge the same price as main dealer to the public.

    You could also try hoffmann car parts, who say they do discounts on genuine parts.

    Otherwise, I've never had a problem with pagid brake pads on any VW/Audi that I've owned.

    i've always found them a few quid cheaper than dealers and i'm only joe public , you get 10% off for trade and cab drivers too. and they are original parts generally got parts in , if they haven't its normally by opening the following morning .

    p.s just so you know i'm doing an oil change this week for £36 from tps original filter and 5 litre of vw oil quoted £80 elsewhere

    did mine last week , Castrol edge and filter £33 ..Anyone quoting £80 for an oil change is clearly taking the pisss,,,, is this tps open to the public ?????

    I bought the rear discs+pads (pagid) for my passat for £33. And they're coated. Very good. Got the platinum oil and filter for £22 from tps.
