Hi, looking for some help, both front doors of my Audi A6 have ripped lower door seals. I want to replace the seals and have been able to get the bottom strip off the door by removing the 2 screws. Now with the strip in hand, I cannot see an easy way to remove the (ripped) rubber seal.
So far I have not found replacement seals either. 2 questions in one then:
How do I remove the seal?
Where do I find replacement parts?

    Many thanks!!

    Welcome to VWAF

    This happened mine -

    NSF Door Seal ripped

I just superglued it back in place, I just noticed this afternoon that the drivers door is doing the same.

Ring your nearest dealer on Monday and get them to quote you, there's a set on ebay for £48 inc delivery, use the part number on that and query it with the dealer if it's the right part no...if it's the correct one and cheaper on ebay then buy that one.

Sorry no idea how to change them, usually door seals have one edge that's wedged in to ensure it doesn't move around....however am sure someone more knowledgeble with be along with the info you need.

    Good luck!

My drivers side popped off from the side a few months back. I too glued it back on but it soon came off again as it was a clean slice rather than a peel.
Told Audi...they took the car in and "fixed" it
This was done by.... ready for it?... cutting it off! lol

was told water would not seep it etc and true to their word, it has not despite a wade into a very large and deep puddle during the rainy weeks

Sheesh Akash this and your scratched screen post would indicate you don't hold your dealership in particularly high regard

As has been said by a previous poster Kwik-Fit pay better...so you pay peanuts....

Glad you've got no leaks so far!

    haha yup!
In all fairness, the guys who did the MMI was West London Audi who I really can't stand with a passion but had to use them as I used to work right next door to them.
The seal was cut by Epsom Audi who I have mostly always used for about 90% of anything Audi. They're actually ok - gone downhill a fair bit recently with the departure of some regulars who really made you feel good about buying an Audi compared to the newer lot who just can't be bothered. As an example, I was pretty much made to hire a car after booking my car in for service because despite a months notice, when it came to the date, they decided to not have any loan cars to give. On top of this, when it came to getting a quotation for my car to trade in for something on the forecourt, I was told they're too busy and I would get a call...like hell I did!

Does anyone think this might be to do with the doors "dropping" as in issues with door hinges causing the seals to rip?
    Just a thought??

I know my OSR door is dropping but the seal on it seems fine.

First my passenger door's seal came loose and superglued it as per my thread above and now the drivers door has done the same.
