Audi A6 6 disc CD Changer

Hi I own a 2007 A6 2.0 ltr TDR Saloon which has a 6 disc cd changer fitted. Is it possible to add a usb type system to the set up so that I can then plug in a USB memory stick that has my music stored on it , so that it can played back through the vehicles speakers ????? Many thanks Jimmymerlin

Do a search for AMI.....Audi music interface...not the cheapest. I think kufatec do a similar bit of kit....

If you have MMI High (large colour screen above the centre airvents), you can add AMI like Neil has suggested.

Hi Chris. I do have an MMI fitted above the centre air vents but it is not the colour screen that you mention above. I think the colour screen was a more advanced system to the one fitted in my car. I can however control the CD from a separate controller stalk on the steering wheel though. The 6 changer CD player is mounted in the glove compartment along with a cd based sat nav system. If it is at all possible I would like to add a usb type attachment to the existing set up or if that is not possible I might consider disconnecting the 6 changer CD player in favour of the usb attachment. Okay you have MMI Basic+

You can add a Dension 500 and this will give you the iPod and USB which you require -
