hi all, a friends brother scanned in the faults on my 2006 passat 1.9tdi,
the car drives fine but on the dash i have warning lights for parking brake, abs and esp, about 4 in total.

i bought the car knowing it had these faults, i have omitted the stuff that doesnt contain errors.

I am not using the parking brake incase it could damage any of the electronics

The previous owner told me that he had the rear pads changed, if the change wasnt done properly could it cause these errors, also the previous owner used to work away for months at a time,
perhaps i am clutching at straws but could a poor / flat battery cause these problems by damaging one of the control units. Could a flat battery cause the control units to loose the settings if the car was left standing for months with a flat battery

I am going to jackup the rear of the car at the weekend and check the calipers to see if i can see any obvious sisgns of tampering then possibly change them if i can get my mates brother to come back over. Then going to remove the abs module and get it tested or is there any way of checking the abs control unit in situ

this is the read out, i have removed the bits that dont contain faults
