I have had my A6 2010 (facelift) Le Mans for a few weeks now and noticed the fog light covers and grill part on the front bumper dont seem to be fitted correctly.

There is a flexible plastic cover that seems to be unclipped but cant work out how to remove the black foglight plastic surround to fix it.

Does the front bumper have to be removed to get at that?

or does the fog surround unclip?

    thanks in advance,

    Sammy

On my A3 if you give them a good pull they will come off.

Also there should be a little cutout on one of the slats to grab from.

Hey there, Chris is pretty much spot on with his description tbh

If you look at either sides of the housing there are little tabs that slot into corresponding slots on the bumper. Simply using perhaps a flexible knife or similar in conjunction with a cloth, insert the knife into the ends and wedge it away from the bumper......once one end is out it can simply be removed to allow access.

Just for info, these parts can be bought from the dealer for around £9 the pair, at least that what I bought them for a year or two ago, cheap as chips.

    Good luck
