    Hi all

Have had a mini flood under the pax side carpet which has written off the bluetooth module (many thanks to Gup and his epic thread: The most Lemon Audi A6 Avant strikes again as I had the same problem)
I only discovered this when an attempted software update went wrong...

Anyway BT module now disconnected and a MOST bridge fitted, but MMI still a bit buggy and VCDS has given me this fault:

Can anyone help me on this one (the frequency is low as I cleared all faults last night)?

    Many thanks

When you go into module 19 click on the "Installation list button" then you just uncheck relevant box & save...

Ross Tech have a good wiki as well... Link:- Audi A6/S6/RS6/allroad (4F) - Ross-Tech Wiki

Here another good link:- Ross-Tech: VCDS Tour: Gateway Installation List

Another great site Link:- Audi Portal: ECU Diagnostic . Without address word

When Audi did not code my ECU correctly my ECU showed an error... maybe due to the flashing hiccup you are having this error ...

If it does go away after editing the CAN gateway all good if not maybe a comparison with members concerning your codings/adaptations?

Right, I'm on it - MANY thanks!!!

I'm not sure which is most embarrassing, buying a car that has a distinct whiff of citrus fruit about it, or coming on here every 5 minutes pleading for help.
    Sorry and thanks!!!

Don't worry mate mine is as zesty fresh as yours ... I think I would have been carted off by the men in white coats if it wasn't for the support here ...

OK, removed item 77 'phone from the CAN gateway list, re booted MMI then re-scanned the Control Head and the fault remains:

    1 Fault Found:
    00003 - Control Module
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 01100101

IMO you need to double check the coding/adaptations in module 07...

You can build up coding/adaptations or check if they are correct in there by cross ref'ing the info in the VCDS wiki...

Link:- Audi A6 (4F) Control Head Front (High) - Ross-Tech Wiki

Post some screenshot's perhaps of coding/adaptations in module 07?

From what I remember disc 2 only does the BT units... so if disc 1 finished correctly all should have been done AOK to v5150...

You can see in your VCDS log that 5150 update has been done...

Only if you feel comfortable if I was in your shoes you could run disc 1 of MMI update again... it will only apply updates if they need to be applied...

I'll have a scan later of MMI FW 5570 Disc 2 content later unless someone else is able to post you some info...

Do make sure all elec.connections are dry... before doing any update!
