    Hi Guys

Wonder if someone can give me some advice on how to change the dipped headlight for A3 (2009). ive managed to take the cover of but cant seem to pull out the light socket, feels like its screwed or something? I can upload pictures if it helps?
There just isnt enough space to have a good look at what im trying to take out! Some help would be really appreciated. :-)

    Thanks

There should be a spring clip holding the bulb in.
Push it in and move to the side, that takes it off the catch, then the bulb should come out.

When I replaced the bulbs on my 07 model, there was no retaining spring holding them in. To replace them I just pulled them out by the connector (seems they are an interference fit in the lamp)

    Sorry for the bump

How on earth do you get the bulb back in and the tab things horizontal again?

Bulb came out fine but can't get the thing back in again!

Looks like I may have to go through the arch liner.
