I was fortunate enought to test drive the new A5 3.0TDi on saturday. It was excellent! Internal finish was great, new style Dashboard super, more chrome than current A4.

    Keyless ignition, push button handbrake.

Acceleration was good, would not know it was a Diesel.

Anyone else got a test drive, what did you think?

Not sure, as it was a demonstrator, but a similar one in the showroom add £40k on the window! Some money for a motor......

Like the A5 looks far nicer and not as common as the A4 Engines in the car make for far smoother progress need I go on. All IMHO of course

I was in Beechwood Audi on saturday, had a look at the new A4, nice, not much difference in size to my old A6, the A5 and S5 they had there were both lovely cars, especially in bright red - but the RS6 avant definitely overshadowed them all, even the R8 sitting lonely in the corner, what a stunning car !!
Current - 2002 Audi A6 2.5TDi Avant quattro (loved), 2012 Ford S Max 2.2 tdci Titanium X (serves a purpose), 1983 VW Golf GTI campaign (loved)
Previous - 2007 Volvo XC90 D5 SE Lux (gone, hated), 2002 Audi A3 1.9TDi Sport quattro (gone, liked and missed), 2011 Audi A6 2.0TDi SE (gone, loved and missed), 2007 Audi A6 2.0TDi SE (gone thankfully), 1999 Audi A6 2.5TDi quattro (gone, loved and missed)

I went to an Audi garage and they had three R8s there - and two A5s

That brings me to seeing 8 different R8s and 3 A5s

I love the A5 interior, I got into it. My dad took one for a test drive, pity I wasnt with though

I was lucky enough to Test Drive an A5 3.0tdi Sport, got to say the engine is superb. I currently drive an A6 3.0 tdi SE which is superb but have now done a deal on an A5 with all the bits.

The A5's are an absolutely gorgeous car and the S5 is just pure porn. The B&O stereos are a really really nice touch aswell.
