Hello ppl... My DPF light came on Monday evening on my way home.., once I got home did my research and on the Tuesday drove the car at higher revs to try and burn it off.. Nothing..on my way home yesterday I put wynn's DPF cleaner into the tank ant half a tank drove at high revs and still nothing... This morning I kept it at 4th or 5th between 2-2.5k revs all the way to work which includes dual carriage way and m25 and still nothing... Any suggestion... I called Audi garage near my work place and they can't see me till Tuesday.. Anyone recommend an Audi specialist near Croydon??

Hi are there any other lights on or just the dpf light.

if no other lights are on then to do a proper regen you would need to take the car on a motorway and leave it in 4th gear at around 2.5k constantly for around 20 mins hope this helps

Mod Edit - changed to sentence case.

DPF's do not damage turbo's, they are downstream!

Your car will need a fault code read as it may have a faulty DPF pressure sensor and it may also need a forced regeneration and again this requires a diagnostic computer.

We would need to see the ASH MASS figure (not soot) to make that sort of decision.
