Golf MK5 Roof Rack

I'm looking to fit some roof racks/bars to a Golf MK5 se TDI 1.9, i haven't got the first clue about this stuff though. I have bought a roof bag, wondering what is the cheapest and easiest way to attach it to my car safely? The car has no current fittings. If all else fails, i'll just tie it through the windows.

Any help would be appericated.

Your Golf MK V takes a dedicated roof rack which bolts onto fixing points just inside the door frames, have a quick look and you will see the fixing points. Pop into your local Halfords and you will be able to see the parts on the Thule stand or the Halfords own make. Get the proper gear and save yourself some potential serious grief.
