    Anyone recommend using fuel additives?...

Some people are dead against and some people dont fill up without it..

Would it break down <removed> in the fuel filter or just melt my injectors?

I used millers one in my B6 1.9tdi and no problem at all.

Not on a regular basis though but sold the car to my mate after over 2 years and is good. Actually it does say if its suitable or not on the bottle and as you know they are reputable ppl.
